Everything you need to know about fitness

Feeling too tired to workout?

I get it. We’ve all been there. There are days when you don’t feel like working out because you are either too tired or just not in the mood. Sometimes we may be too busy with work, families and other responsibilities meaning you don’t have enough time to get your workout in.

Most of the time we make excuses as to why we can’t work out. However, it is during these times is when you must not listen to that inner voice telling you to quit or to take a day off because you deserve it.

Majority of people quit too soon because they don’t see results. But remember: Consistency is key! I’m sure you have heard this phrase before, but do you actually believe in it?

Results take time and without consistency, you may not end up seeing the results you want. Don’t focus too much on the results and learn to enjoy the journey and celebrate the little things that you have achieved along your fitness journey such as beating your personal record.

What if?

Ask yourself what if? What if you get that workout done when you don’t feel like it? What if you push yourself for that last rep on a specific exercise? What if you manage to beat your personal record time when you are out for a jog? Think about how you will feel and the satisfaction you will get when you finish that workout.

Summary

To summarise:

  • Consistency is key
  • Results take time
  • Learn to enjoy the journey
  • Celebrate little goals that you have achieved along your journey

The last piece of advice I want to leave you with is this: Nothing will be a better investment than your own body and health.
